ANIME Anime Vanguards (AV) familiar tier notes

The wiki splits familiars into regular and Vanguard familiars. A Vanguard familiar belongs to one unit and cannot be traded, corrupted or rerolled. The current wiki list already has a 2nd Anniversary section; the 14 additions announced by v15.0 must not be counted twice. No standalone official cross-unit familiar ranking was found.
There is no official familiar tier list. On the unit tier list I see optimal names such as Birb, Turtle Symbol, Foo, and Chosen Savior. Those are labels on unit rows, not a leaderboard I calculated. Demon Fusion recipes I can quote: Winged Being plus Lost Girl makes Tempting Devil. Trenchcoat plus Tempting Devil makes Chosen Savior. Any pair that is not a recipe makes Harpist.
Recommended familiars for the source's overall top eight
The 23 September tier list recommends the following per-unit companions. This is a dated pairing table, not a ranking of anniversary familiars against older ones. Demon familiars remain a separate field where the source lists one.
